Holidays on the Rancho & Open House
Castro Adobe State Historic Park
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You are invited to a “sneak peak” into our new state historic park and a celebration of Holidays on the Rancho.
Open house visitors will be able to tour the property including the recently restored cocina (kitchen) and the Potter-Church Garden. State Park Interpretive Rangers and Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks volunteers will be on hand to offer information into the restoration process. Handmade tortillas cooked on the recently reconstructed brasero (stove) will be provided. Admission is free, donations gratefully accepted. Parking is extremely limited, so carpooling is encouraged. //READ MORE
