Join us on a 1-mile, 1-hour stroll to observe the great forces that have been manipulating Cove Beach long before humans were ever here. Uncover evidence of the hard-to-see forces that shape Año Nuevo’s beaches and cliffs and gain a perspective of California’s geological future while walking along active faults, ancient fossil beds, forgotten shorelines, and a mysterious river of sand.

Suitable for all ages. Rain cancels. Guided walk is free; day-use parking is $10 and supports the park.
