About the Position: Our Service Aide positions are an exciting opportunity to work in the some of California’s most beautiful State Parks. Enjoy assisting day use or overnight campers in beautiful natural environments within a team atmosphere. Friends is looking for individuals who would enjoy working with State Parks staff in the operations of the campground and day use areas at one of our State Parks. If you have considered a career in California State Parks, this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of park operations knowledge and skills.

Seasonal State Park Interpreters

Starting Hourly Wage: $12.40

About the Position: Seasonal Park Interpreters promote high quality educational experiences for the public by researching, developing, promoting and conducting natural and cultural history interpretive programs. These may include nature walks, campfire programs, AV presentations, Junior Ranger programs, living history presentations, roving interpretation and outreach presentations. Flexible part-time and full-time schedules available. Positions are open in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Butano Redwoods State Park, and New Brighton and Sunset State Beach.
