MARCH PARK ENEWS
Hi Friends,
Community Day @ Downtown Santa Cruz New Leaf, March 19th!

http://www.sccys.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/NewLeaf-for-website.jpg

Several Thursdays a year, New Leaf Market kindly donates 5% of their sales to a local non-profit. On March 19th, that lucky non-profit is Friends!

New Leaf Community Day funds are important to sustaining our mission of protecting and preserving our beautiful Santa Cruz State Parks and Beaches, and we couldn’t do it without locally-minded businesses like New Leaf Market and YOU!

Effortlessly help us by choosing to shop at the Downtown Santa Cruz New Leaf on March 19th! The more you shop, the more we get to keep our parks wonderful!

Learn more here on Facebook, and check out New Leaf Market’s website here and thank you for adding us to your shopping list!

In partnership with Hilltromper, Friends is proud to sponsor two guides that detail accessiblity available at local parks and beaches. A number of State Parks and Beaches in Santa Cruz and coastal San Mateo counties are wheelchair accessible.

The Accessible Beach Guide includes information about which beaches have wheelchairs available at no charge and how to borrow the wheelchairs. The State Beaches include Sunset, New Brighton, Natural Bridges, Twin Lakes, Seacliff and Francis Beach at Half Moon Bay.

The Wheelchair-Friendly Trails Guide shares details about which parks have paved paths and boardwalks, as well as those parks with ADA-accessible unpaved paths. The guide rounds out with tips on wheelchair-friendly AND beautiful picnic spots, including the Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park.
