Old Tree Trail Hike

An event every week that begins at 2:30pm on Saturday, repeating until June 30, 2018
Meet at the Portola Redwoods State Park Visitor Center for a stroll through a giant old growth redwood grove that’s over 1,200 years old. On this 1-mile, 1-hour kid friendly excursion we’ll discover the banana slug’s vital role to this flourishing forest, learn about the marvelous Marbled Murrelet, and how park visitors can help save these endangered birds. Event is free; day use vehicle fee is $10. Bring closed toe shoes, water, a snack, and a camera.
