Join us for our annual celebration honoring the often overlooked, but heroically well adapted, amphibians native to the Santa Cruz Mountains. Live amphibians will be available for viewing. Herpetologist Amy Patten will present “Salamanders of the Santa Cruz Mountains,” at 1pm. Naturalist-led salamander hike on the mile-long Marsh Trail will start at 3pm. Come learn about salamanders and their ecosystems while enjoying crafts and other activities! Appropriate for all ages. Free event. For more information, call (831) 427-2288.
